Woodside Farm
Located on 150 acres in the historic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, this contemporary house is sited at the edge of a wood line and quietly perched atop a knoll to take in the painterly views of the rolling pasture beyond. The gardens around the house draw panoramic views into the interior spaces. Simple lines of clipped Korean boxwood hedges and flat planes of lawns create a foil and point of reference to the Blue Ridge landscape beyond. Dolomitic limestone terraces complement the native limestone-clad house and landscape walls.
